Hey guys, after the recent comp in georgia ive been bit by the scale bug. I know Brando and HLPressley have invested some time and effort (and cash!) into scale rigs.

Im interested in going a lil deeper with scale myself. Im gonna keep the Twin force to run super with, but i want a scale class TLT. The "follow the leader" format seems like the best way to handle scale comps. More about bragging rights than points, "i can make this obsticle and you cant" type of thing. Plus it opens up new worlds of crawl spots because your not just looking for rocks.

The thought hit me today as i was walking down a walking path at Bethabara trails. its a trail system that runs along side a creek. Terrain ranges from rocks, sand, hills, mud and varies from wide open space to narrow foot paths.

i know the 07 schedule is pretty booked up, but those of you building scale rigs might be interested in some extra curricular meets. Oh..the bike trails at lake Norman state park would be cool for scale meets.

Anyway..just a thought. i'd like to see some focus towards scale as the club grows. Found out it was something i enjoy.

The scale thing is fun for sure. I really enjoyed running my scale truck. If there is enough interest it is something we can look into. We can add the class to a couple of our events. Miller park and the Bullhole has some nice spots for scale truck. I encourage people to bring them out if they have them. If nothing else we can run them after our comps. Kind of a run what ya brung fun run.
