This is the reason I don't compete. Personally, I think it is pointless for anything other than FUN. To drive an hour (or more sometimes), pay $15 or whatever it is to drive around a course to accrue points that are worthless unless you plan to go to Nationals is a waste of $$$ IMO.

I would be all for competing for FUN, would even keep score, but to have to pay to compete, only for the hopes of a trophy (to do what with?).

I guess I am just not into it deep enough to want to spend that much more money it it. I would rather spend the $15 entry fees on parts to make my rig better, for fun.

I would compete for fun, maybe somewhere close like DPG, Bullhole, or High Rock lake, but if I HAVE to pay to compete then I'll just save the gas and stay at home, because like I said, I could care less about points, trophies, or going to nat's.

as Brandon explained before,the $ keeps us up. our website and all. if not for the entree fees then we would just be another groupl of people who have toys.lol
it is fun,but it is also fun to compete. i drive 3 hrs most of the time to play and have never complained about the fees. i will always pay to play if i have to.i have been with the club the whole time and would not like to see it dwendle away. and if it is up to me it wont. and i am sure there are a few more that will stick with it as well.those who dont then just play for fun at the free crawls.

oh yeah and i dont care who i make mad if anyone. just my thoughts on the whole situation.

toes hurting yet anyone?

Why not just do donations on the board? I have my own site, it costs me $4/month, I doubt this board could be OVER $200/year, $10 donation from 20 people would cover that, then then all the comps could be free. I don't see what NEEDS $$$ other than paying for the board? $15 entry per event (well lets assume everyone is a member, so say $10). If there is 10 people at an event, thats $100/event, where does it all go? I understan trophies cost money, but dang guys, we are all grown men here, do you really need a trophy showing you won an R/C crawling competition? If it was the Baja 1000 I would understand Smile

Hey all;

These questions do not belong in this thread. I do not want to charge for comps, I am simply following club guidlines, which Randy posted.

This is not my decission.

ok but the admin needs to be put in check the fealing im getting is that the club dont care about supers and that fealing came from big red aka the admin

first of all, everything i said was said on my profile, dont bring up this admin crap again, nothing i have done as admin has been wrong for the club.

To tell you the truth, the role of the admin is a sucka$$ job. if there is someone else out there that wants it take it.

My role as admin has nothing to do with what size tires are run i the comps. If you wanna take over the admin for a while you'll see just how little i have to do with the club.

You have done nothing but whine about how few supers are there. the feeling you are getting from me is that im sick of hearing about it. nothing personal towards you. Its not that we are against you, no one else but the three of you wants to run them and you want everyone to build one to accomodate you. its called majority rule. deal with it, i had too. it just kinda pisses me off that is seems like the guys running supers wants to go off on their own and compete on the clubs dime and not pay in.

how in the hell did you get that i dont like supers? i just got through telling you that i ran a clodbuster and twinforce and wish i still had my twinforce.

tacoma, the money goes towards site maintenance and upkeep, prizes and lunch at every event. last year alot of the advertisement money came out of harolds and brandons pockets. not sure what were gonna do this year.

You appear to be confused on this issue;

- Supers are paying in same as everyone else, we were just waiting to hear how much (we still need to hear how much the annual membership is, but I am sure Randy is working that out and will let us know)

- I have offerred to take the Super to another site for one comp, so that it takes pressure off Randy and Tony, so that they have more hours of daylight available

If it turns out that the cheuled comps run smooth enough to have enough time to run all three trucks the Supers will gladly come to regular comp site.

About majority ruling; out of respect for this is why I am running the Supers at a seperate site, so that the majority can have there way, there are more 1.9s then Supers.

About doing it on the clubs dime???
- all Super drivers are full members
- using my chalk
- using my balls (LOL)

I would much rather run Supers and 2.2s together but the club was not thrilled with this last year. So Reid stop painting me to be the bad guy, I am simply presenting viable solutions. You are only complaining about what you do not like. Offer some possitive input or a way to make it better.

STOP FIGHTING IN MY THREAD!!!

One thumb runs the front and the other thumb runs the rear. Then you've got that little flippy switch on top to combine the two. At least I think thats how it works.

Ya I am way to retarted to run a truck with 2 sticks. Hell, I have a hard time running one stick at times. At least that is what my wife tells me.

I think Doug is just having issues with the mechanics of running the truck, I helped him set it up yesterday.
