Well I'm sure Mike or Todd would do it but not sure on the price. Most peolple won't haul big rocks because it dents the bed up and with most beds being made from aluminum I can why. Mikes truck is an old school Mack with a steel bed, not sure about Todd's.

Don't commit to anything, just yet until I can see what we can get in the coastal NC or VA area.

I will be in for Super and 2.2. If we do any thing scale wise, I'd be in for that too. I will also be bringing my son. He will be running 2.2 as well.

This is set for May 23-25 right?

How will regisitration be done for this? Thru No Limit, or here?

How about Fee's?

just trying to prepare my trip and pocketbook. lol!

The flyer is done for the RCCA ad. The CRR logo is on it (small, but on it) Registration will be done via email to either Randy or BrandO. Entry fee for crawling will be $10 per truck, this is just to pay for building materials. Any profits from the crawling part of the event go to CRR as a club Smile Additionally, any sponsorships that CRR members score go into the crawling prize pool.
I'll try and get the flyer posted tonight.

No Limit R/C announces one of the biggest collaborative ventures in RC event history!!!! RC Crawler, (www.rccrawler.com) the undisputed #1 RC crawling organization, will be assembling the crawling course at the 2008 monster truck world finals at Digger's Dungeon! They will be posting live updates throughout the entire event.
This agreement will bring in MASSIVE pre race promotion, allow people around the world to follow the event as it unfolds, and will bring 2 RC event promotion superpowers to one fantastic event! Registration opens Feb 1st.
Much more to come!! The Carolina Rock Runners will still be involved in the course construction and running the event. This just brings in more publicity, sponsors and recognition to the event, and puts CRR further into the spotlight.

Don't know that itis a bad thing having RCC involved. I just don't like the fact that CRR was not in the loop. We had no info until after the fact. Now it seems RCC will come in and run the show. Oh well that is fine with me. I can see this turning into a circus that will be very hard to run or organize. Guess CRR is just an innocent bystander now.

READ THIS CAREFULLY AND TELL ME HOW YOU LOSE: Rock show has it right! How can this hurt CRR??? I am sorry that I did not inform you 1st, I will take the hit for that. I will be guarded in my comments(not lash back), but this is what happened: CRR was having difficulty landing sponsors and resources, and a rock crawling course takes $$$. Agreed? In order to bring in big $$ we need a bigger name. This is where RC Crawler comes in. RCC was very clear that they DO NOT want to take away what you are planning, please know this. They could have, but they did not. By bringing in a crawling superpower, along comes the $$, and sponsors to be able to assemble a better course for CRR to run! I landed CRR $$ to work with, publicity, sponsors etc and this is the thanks I get?????????? RC Crawler and CRR will assemble the course. RC Crawler will focus more on the overall event coverage and live website updates and you all get to run the crawling. I'm sorry if the initial post was a shock or was not clear. This is a slam dunk for everyone involved! CRR is still going to run the segment, just with more money to work with, more prizes to give away, and more publicity. For further clarification: This venue has the potential to be the biggest crawling event on the east coast, and Carolina Rock Runners is a big part of this. Everything is cool, Laughing please let me know what other questions you have.

This sounds like a good thing to me. I retracted my statement above and offer my apology. I completly understand where your coming from now! Thumbs Up!

As I said before this could easily be dubbed the "East Coast Nationals". This is a great venue for both involved. Its good to see that CRR is still getting the credit, and that RCC is stepping in to help insure that this event is one for the record books.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify!

So...where do I sign up? scratch

CRR will be running the crawling that will be covered by 2 magazines and RC Crawler. The largest manufacturers in the world entrust me with $1,000's of dollars in merchandise so i must have proven myself somewhere along the line. My job is to make this the biggest RC spectacle of the year, and CRR will be in the front row with VIP treatment. It's all good.

I think it is great the RC Crawler is getting involved.

We may want to limit thenumber of trucks, or require signup before the event. I want to run both classes.

On a side note, I just secured a SUPER HUGE prize!!! We will be giving away a Kymco ATV valued at over $2,000 at the event.
My preference is to do a demo for 2 of the 3 days and have a limited number of entries do a comp one of the days. There is A LOT more going on that I will be finalizing soon. Stay tuned for updates. When i talked to jason from RCC, he said he could not do a comp and run live updates on his site, so a demo would be better, but if CRR can run a comp then it all fits very nicely. I cant wait!

I never said this was a bad thing. I think I actually posted that. I was a little put off by the way I found out about it. Each of the groups (no limit, CRR, and RCC) need to know there rolls. That is done through comunication. Lets just keep the open dialog. So we know what we are all expected to do.

The money and prizes from Max amps is on the way. And I have a couple other I need to follow up with. So we are making a little headway with a couple sponsors.

Please clearify!!!

Quote :

So this will be a comp or not or sort off???

Isn't a comp the best possible demonstration that could be put on?

I s Jason able to offer a spot to the 08 Nationals for the top 2.2 and the top Super?
