We are entitled by state law to use any state facility for our crawling.

113A‑151

(b).......

(3) Establish a State land‑use policy which seeks to provide essential public services equitably to all persons within the State and to assure that citizens shall have, consistent with sound principles of land resource use, maximum freedom and opportunity to live and conduct their activities in locations of their personal choice;

morehead park in Eden is pretty cool. its a municipal park, so this rule doesnt apply.

But, it brings Pilot Mtn back into play.

recently went to Damascus Va. Needless to say....drop your truck and crawl where ever there.

Stone Mountain NC, (widows creek falls i think is the spot that impressed me) Plenty of crawling to be done there.

I've been putting alot of focus into opening up a state OHV trail system for 1:1s. The federal forest have them (like URE and Tellico) but theres 10 untapped State forest an no OHV trails. If we get the ball rolling on that then there will be PLENTY of RC crawling spots open up!!!

I've been to the Devils Playground finally. Didnt crawl any RC, but it was an impressive place.

Not really been in much contact with scruff and he's got my TLT. Im sure he's not messed with it any, and i definatly havent.

As the weather cools, the bullhole should get popular again. Especially since the water is down, that should open up alot more crawling area below the dam and acrross the river if we can get there. I kinda miss the bullhole.

At the Bullhole there will be 2 brand new courses on the 11th and the finals course will be where we normally put course 1 (just some harder lines).

Good that your scoping outr locations for 1:1 and for RCs.

I'm looking into a few more spots on the upper and lower Haw river that we have never been to. My Cousin lives in Asheboro, and runs the trails in and along Uwharrie, so I'm going to tap his brain for some new spots there next weekend at a family reunion.

Reid your right, there is a ton of stuff in Stone Mnt park. Widow creek, Is that the area where everybody swims and slides. If it is it would be tough to crawl there during the warm months. There is also a lot of good crawling up behind the Hutchins home.

Thanks for the legg work.

yeah, the slide at widow creek would be awesome to crawl in the winter, wayyy to crowded when people are there.

Tony, scruff just has my rig at his house, i thought he would have more time to tinker with it than i would. i dont think hes done much to it either though.

We really dont need to get permission to use something that is legally ours to use as we want where we want. If some one says we cant us it, thats descrimination. obviously we cant wheel where it will have adverse enviremental effects, but that shouldnt be much of a concern with what we do.
