| hey Tony
I think that a teeter totter would be awsome. But with a twist, It would actually be two teeter totters next to each other one for the right wheels and one for the left wheels and the pivot points would be 6 inches apart so that the teeter totters would brake over at different times. The balls to mark the gate would sit on either pivot on the outside and I was thinking that the whole thingh was 3 to 4 feet long and one 6 to 8 inches high.
I also want to build a rope bridge. |

| I think I can make this event, not sure yet but I'll try. If I do make it, it will be 2.2 comp and 1.9 scale. Thank you Rene for getting the ball rolling on this event, Brandon has busting his butt on two race cars with me helping when I can, and I have had other stuff going on that has needed some attention around home. I just haven't time. Anywho thanks again Rene for this. _________________ Randy Jones

| hey Tony;
If your truck can do it at least once out of 3 times anything goes that you build.
Please add a place to put a couple gate balls in the most challenging parts. We will absolutely use anything you build in the scale course.
Thank you for your help Tony. |

ok thanks Rene. i will extend a couple places on the sides to accomidate the markers.how far apart are they supposed to be for scale? so i can just put a platform off the sides for them. |

| hey there
A scale truck is supposed to contain part of the tire under the body, so I think that any scale truck should fit through a 14" gate. This depends on how hard the gate is.
But I want to run the scale class with 10ish gates and same rules as comp rigs, except that winching is allowed (with same penalty as a reverse, per winch use). Also I want the scale trucks to have 50 points before they point out and a 5 min time penalty. That way if we have water on course that someone wants to avoid, they will have to drive an out of the way gate that will eat up some time.
The water crossings will depend on the weather. |

| hey all; Here is a preview of a scale obsticle. Even a stock TA02 (Brian's Stadium truck) can be driven over this. |

| 22 confirmed trucks WOW.Doug has got his 1.9 ready too and he is talking tons of smack. His is the red Clod bodied truck (his shell will be black). Senilehiker will be running the yelllow bodied TA-02 and the Power Wagon is mine. The Power wagon now has LED fog lights that can be turned on and off via remote. (they are very bright and I think if we had 3 or more trucks you could do a very fun night crawl. One truck has a hard time throwing enough light. |

| I am not sure how well a bubblewrap base chassis will work, LOL.
About the comp, I will start a thread where people can put what they are bringing for the pot luck and I think we are going to have to start this one at 10 AM. But that means that Tech check needs to be done by then and have the first truck rolling by then.
Everyone will fill in their score sheet before the event, I will make them available. Also the order of go will be done before the event, if people show up without signing up, then they go before the people that signed up. |

| Hey Ben
Do not worry about being new to this, my father in law has driven a crawler once before and he is competing in 2.2 and 1.9.
All of us will be new at the 1.9 thing at a comp.
And there is a full range of skills in the 2.2. |

| im not to concerned about it. i have made myself look like an idiot many times so im not scared. i am more looking forward to meeting people and checking out other peoples rigs. I have my scorpion I have tweeked a bit and I think it does really well and it goes where i want it to but i figure when i see other peoples rigs go places mine couldnt dream of i will be able to set the bar a little higher for myself. i have never seen another crawler in action in person before so i have nothing to compare mine to. i have been doing the 1:1 thing for since i got my license so i just jumped into the rc crawling thing recently. well im looking forward to it. time to get out and practice.... |

| hey there
I went to my first GTG in PA (SVSC) anf thought my rigs were very capable, there were 10 year old that spanked my but hard.
It is very hard to gage how capable a crawler is if you are not running gated courses. But I am sure you know this, due4 to your 1:1 experience. |
