because we usually crawl near water...and i have a bad habit of driving into the water, i usually just run the cheapest i can find. i think the one i normally use is a duratrax for about $29.00.

Others may prefer the more expesive ones but i dont have any problems outta the cheap ones.

Hey there

What is te ultimate plan for your Wheely King.

If you are going to just bash it any ESC will do.

If you are going for a Scale build in the future, you want an AI (waterproof) one.

If you want to get into serious crawling with a brushed motor, getthe new Rooster 'crawler edition'

If you are ready to go Brushless immediately, you can get away with the Mamba 25 and a Holmes out runner.

If you want to upgrade to Brushless at some point, but want to stay Brushed now, get the Mamba Max.

Your options are listed in order of cost.

I do have a Super Duty Novak for sale, but that is over kill for your truck.

I just bought a Moped Bravo. I have not used it yet but for $33 shipped to my door I figured I would try it. If it works pretty good I will buy one for each one of my vehicles. I may need to buy AI runners for trucks that play in the water or mud.
