Actually Sunday is the 4th. Do we want to plan on Saturday(3rd) or Sunday (4th)?

I think I have to work on Saturday. Not sure if all day or not. I hope to make it this time around. Just been plain crazy at work. Hopefully they won't wreck more stuff in Vegas. And hopefully the COT test goes well this week. Every time we start making progress the chit hits the fan.

Tell me what you guys want to do. I will do my very best to be there. Remember we will be at Miller park in Winston Salem on the 11th of march. This will be comp #2 of the season. This is also a Sunday.

This weekend is not a good one for me either. I can't make it. I got to think about the 11th so I can't go 2 weekends in a row. Besides, money is gonna be short till next Friday. But I will be at the park on the 11th.

Is the heavy rain from last night going to ruin our party? Just wonder if everything is going to be under water.

Hope everyone can make it out today. Looks like a very nice day to do some crawling. I worked on my junk last night. It's loaded up and ready to go. See ya'll in a few hours.

I will have club membership forms if anyone would like to sign up. I will also have decals, shirts, and sweatshirts. So bring your spare change if you want some swag.

Had fun at the dam today. Was pretty darn cold. But got a chance to run off some packs. It is a neat place with plenty of rocks to crawl. Lot's of jagged stuff with nooks and crannies. It's easy to drop in a crack and wedge a wheel. Have to tread lightly as not to break anything.

My biggest concern with the dam is the walk to the rocks. This will be a tough place to hold a comp. There is no walking back and forth to grab parts and tools. Scott and I tried the short cut (aka stairway to hell) on the way back. This fat guy and the smoker almost dropped. If we could get access down to the rocks around the gate it would be fine. But otherwise it's pretty tough. For a comp you would need to make the walk at least twice. And that's only if you don't break something.

For those of you who have been. Please give me a yes or no on the dam for a comp.

I am old and used to smoke and its a great comp site walk or not.
Sad

There are some great ways around that area.If we could get some insurance info we could probably get permission to get the gate unlocked for runs and competetions.

There has to be more places like that also around their Dams/Lakes.

I hope things work out where we can have meets there, But by the sound of it, being a Dam, controlled by the state more than likely, that's probably not an option they would even consider. I know nothing of the place, but alot of questions to someone about opening gates and having gettogethers there might have the reverse effect and end with us getting run out altogether. I sure wish I could have gone today, but the wife said no. I will be at miller park though.
